AARP tax assistance The February meeting of AARP will be held Monday, Feb. 26, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Golden Years Center in Bountiful. A discussion will be held on the preparation of state and federal income in-come taxes. AARP offers free tax consultation each year. Call the Golden Years Center at 295-3479 for an appointment with an income tax specialist. There is no charge for this service. Milton Ouzts, local president, cautions the senior citizen to be alert concerning bills passed by the Legislature, especially those pertaining per-taining to the deregulation of the telephone company and social programs pro-grams for the elderly. AARP extends a special invitation invita-tion to anyone 50 years of age or over to attend their meetings covering cover-ing subjects concerning the senior citizen.
