Show Sportsmen Show invades Palace The ever-popular Fly Tying Theatre, which features close-up views of expert work via big screen television, is back and new this year is the Family Camping Center. This special exhibit section shows off the latest in camping equipment, clothing and activities for the entire family. Other displays include hunting dog exhibits and a boat section. The trout pond, for anglers 12 and under, will again feature the theme, "Get Hooked on Fishing, Not Drugs." Each member of Trout Unlimited and the Stonefly Society will not only help each kid catch two fish, but will also talk briefly about staying away from drugs, alcohol and tobacco. Admission to the Salt Lake Sportsmens Show is $6 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Discount admission coupons are available at Maverik Country Stores and participating exhibitors. SALT LAKE CITY Utah's most productive fishing waters may not be in the high Uintah lakes. The state's most popular fishery is in the Salt Palace through March 22 at the third annual Utah Sportsmens Show. Kids 12 and under can fish free, with the help of members of the Utah Chapter of Trout Unlimited and the Stonefly Society, and they'll be able to keep two fish. For the seasoned anglers there ire 400 exhibits in more than C0,000 square feet of exhibit space tith everything from the bare ass i ties for Spartan camping to ying outdoors sports in the lap of luxury. O'Loughlin Trade Shows, producers pro-ducers of the Salt Lake Sportsmen Show, have included a series of demonstrations and seminars for both the experienced and the novice outdoors enthusiasts. The centerpiece center-piece is always the fly casting pond where the nation's premier fly fishing experts will put their skills on display.
