Show Gertrude Jencks Madsen Gertrude Mary Jencks Madsen died Oct. 4, 1989 at her home, of heart failure. Bom Dec. 5, 1925 to Harold E. Jencks and Gertrude Alice Price, in Los Angeles, Calif. Married Ray A. Madsen, May 15, A" -. -; w M s - 1944 in the St George Temple. An active member of the LDS Church, she served in many capacities throughout her life, including Relief Society president, Primary president, presi-dent, and in the Young Women's organization. She sang in many choirs. - She is survived by her husband, sons, Ray E. of Broomfield, Colo.;, Gary J. of Castle Dale; David J. of Centerville; Eric J. of Kemmerer, Wyo.; Robert J. of Farmington; daughters, Mrs. Norman (Susan) Henke of Deseret; Mrs. Kirk (Lynne) Jorgensen of Logan; Mrs. Guy (April) Dugal of Bountiful; one brother, Harold E. Jencks of California; two sisters, Miriam Barlow of California and Unity Bazaar of Idaho; 32 grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy, and her parents. Funeral services were held Oct. 7, at the Compton Bench Chapel, Farmington. Interment Centerville City Cemetery under the direction of Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary. GERTRUDE MADSEN |
