Morse, 29, is seeking candidacy for one of two West Bountiful City Council seats. Morse is a Viewmont High School graduate, and has attended at-tended LDS Business College. He is currently employed at Qysen Refinery as an operator. He has been involved in volunteer work with, the Navajo Placement Program, Pro-gram, where his primary; responsibility respon-sibility was in locating fNavajo students whose families desired to improve their child's education, and help those students adapt to life off the reservation. Morse has a strong interest in the future of West Bountiful City, both its economical growth and residential residen-tial growth. He would like to see a better organized disaster preparedness plan. He also feels there is a great need for better communication between the community com-munity and the city government and feels this can be accomplished by being more personable with the residents of the city. With the possible development of a shopping center in West Bountiful City, Morse looks forward to helping help-ing in the decision making with this development. He feels the site of the proposed project will aid in preserving West Bountiful City's rural atmosphere, yet create a great RONALD J. MORSE source of income for the community-Mr. Morse states that West Bountiful Boun-tiful City will continue to be a united community in the years to come if those elected to city government are willing to search for correct answers and listen to residents' ideas, while preserving the heritage of this great community. |
