I DuFrane named to society Kaysville resident Elizabeth DuFrane, a 1989 nursing graduate at the University of Utah, has been named to the Beehive Honor Socie- The Beehive Honor Society fs'ffie oldest honor society at the U, with members selected from graduating seniors. Students are xhosen on the basis of achievements and involvement in-volvement in university and community com-munity activities. Only 16 members were selected this year from a graduating class of more than 4,000. . :.. DuFrane is also a member of Golden Key and Sigma Theta Tau honor societies. She was also named nam-ed U of U Student Nurse of the -' Year, an elected position from the Utah Student Nurses Association. : She has served -as president of, the College of Nursing Student Ad-; visory Committee and a board member of the Utah Student Nurses Association. " "3-"T She is married to Dr. Michael DuFrane, and they have two children. She is also a registered, dental hygienist, and received a bachelor's degree in health education edu-cation from the University of Min-' nesota in Duluth. |
