Show - MR.ANDMRS. MICHAEL PAUL SHURTLIFF Pierce weds Shurtliff Kristin Renee Pierce became the bride of Michael Paul Shurtliff in a June-28 ceremony performed by President F. Briton McConkie in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The Canterbury Hall was the set-ting set-ting for the rest of the day's ac- -tivities. There a wedding luncheon was hosted for the newlyweds by " the groom's parents. That evening, the couple was honored at a reception recep-tion given by the bride's parents. The naxeAt of the .bride are Mr. . ,, and Mrs. Lv Rulon Jenson -et Bountiful Boun-tiful and Mr. and Mrs. Neill W. Pierce of Kearns. The parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. J. Robert Butler of Salt Lake City and Stephen B. Shurtliff of BountifuL The bride wore a floor length, fitted, white satin gown edged in delicate two inch sheer pleated, embroidered em-broidered lace scallops. A lovely : - ornate design graced the front of her gown done in translucent sequins, : beads, tiny opalescent flowers, and f- small drop pearls. This design was i elegantly carried . throughout the i front and back of 'the bodice, and : forearm of the sleeves. 1 The pouf, window pane sleeves r accented the bride's gown as did the long white satin; tulip shaped train, , i which bore a large .window pane ; design, framed in translucent se-t: se-t: quins and opalescent bead trim. The bride's train was edged with the same delicate embroidered lace : scallops as that of the gown, and I embellished at the back of her waist : with a large white satin rose, and ?busUe. ;.; -- ;' - - ; layered veil crowned in opalescent, I and translucent beads, with a spray . of white roses and tiny cascading I forget-me-nots. tThe bride's bou-. bou-. quet was done in large soft pink roses, dusty rose colored lilies, - i babies breath and streams of pearl embedded stephanotis. I The bridesmaids wore tea length, I fitted goWns of dusty rose satin and ;zt laceoThe.mothers were ar- rayedln tloor length, drop waist I gowns of soft pink satin and lace - f overlay: The fathers, best man, and -I usher wore dark grey tuxedos with -I pink cummerbunds. Attending the -I bride as maid of honor was Becky J Morrison. Bridesmaids were I Allison Fames, Shannon Wheatley, i and Cindy Shurtliff.
