Show Btfl. veteran firefighters honored at state convention BOUrrriFUL--Members of the Bountiful City Fire Department were honored for their years of service ser-vice at a convention of the Utah State Firefighters Association' held in Moab. Lt. Bob StelL Lt Richard Hales, Firemedic George Searle and - Firemedic Vard Hall received awards for 10 years of service. "Firemedic Robert George received a 25 year service award. Lt Bob Stell started with the Bountiful City Fjre Department part-time in 1979. He began working work-ing on a full-time basis in 1982. Lt Steel was promoted to the rank of lieutenant in 1984. Lt. Richard Hales also began with the department on a part-time basis in 1978, and became a full-time full-time employee in 1985. He was promoted to the rank of lieutenant in 1983. Firemedic George Searle and Firemedic Vard Hall were hire part-time in 1978 and are presently working as firefighterEMTs for the department Firemedic' Robert George, following a tradition established by his father, is a firefighterEMT. He joined the department in 1964. |
