Show BYU sinks U tankers The Utah swim team received a sound trouncing by the BYU club Thursday evening in the Ute Nata-torium. Nata-torium. This was thefirst meet this year for the Utes and it showed that Coach Reddish's kids need some work by finishing second-best second-best in the 75-38 decision. Coach Reddish summed up the meet by saying "this is usually what hap-Dens hap-Dens this time of year." Utah took first place in four events while BYU took the remaining re-maining seven first places. High point man for Utah was Gary Conrad with first in the 200 yard individual medley and 200 yard butterfly. Rob Kittel showed speed by out-distancing the field in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:48.7. Second place in this event went to Justice of BYU with only a 1:51.3 clocking. Dijakovick of BYU placed first in the 500 and 1000 yard free-i free-i style to pace the Cougars. |
