Show WAgjhampion ships Next Thinclads Back From California Meet With only five men competing, the University of Utah track team made a very commendable showing show-ing at the West Coast Relays in Fresno, Calif., last weekend. The five, Darryl Busby, - Larry Stott, Scott Peterson and Ron Taylor in the mile relay and Scott Bringhurst in the three-mile all turned in good performances. The Utes racked up six points, which was good enough for 13th place in the tough field. Top track powers such as San Jose State, Brigham Young, Villanova, Kansas and Southern California also competed com-peted in the prestigious meet. Scott Bringhurst got the Utes off to a good start Friday as he finished finish-ed second in the grueling three-mile run with a time of 14:25.3. Then on Saturday, Utah's team placed fifth in the exciting mile relay with a time of 3:13.0. San J0se to close race with a 3:09.4 cJi C The rest of the track mained at home to prepay?
