'Harassment, Arrest By STEVE BINGHAM and DOUG YATES The Yale Daily News JACKSON, MISS. i68)- (Reports are being received here hourly of police harassment and arrest of campaign workers, joined join-ed by over 50 Yale students, who are waging a bitter campaign for Negro gubanatorial candidate Aaron Henry. In Hattiesburg, Yale University jurior Walter Wright is still in jail after being arrested there yesterday. Police spokesman refuse re-fuse to talk with anyone about his arrest. He is being held on $50 bond. A white Mississippi State college col-lege girl was physically dragged into a police car as she made her way to a Hattiesburg rally accompanied accom-panied by two Yale students. A Police car pulled up beside her and officers told the girl to get in. When she refused, two officers pursued her on foot and dragged her to the car. The rally was very successful with 300 attending despite police attempts to break up the meeting with the use of police car sirens. At one point during the meeting Henry said, "I would like those people blowing those sirens and the firemen in the back of the room to know that there is a fire going on, but water won't put the fire out." A third successful rally was held yeasterday in Clarksdale.
