Show I - Artists to Tell Motive, Explain Abstractions Dale Fletcher will speak Wednesday Wed-nesday in the Beehive Room in connection with his exhibit now on display in the Union West Lobby. His topic will be "Naturalistic Paintings vs. Abstraction." AFTER HIS speech he will move to the exhibition area to discuss the more interesting abstractions and his motives in painting. He will be glad to answer any student inquiries in-quiries about his work. The Union Arts Exhibition Committee, Com-mittee, with Lee Jonas as chairman, chair-man, is sponsoring the program. This year the committee plans to feature the work of Utah artists. Students will have a chance to meet the artists, hear their personal per-sonal discussions of their work, and ask them questions about their exhibits. Other programs planned by the committee are: "Face of Viet 'Nam" in room 203, Nov. 7-20, and "Iraqi Photographic Exhibit" in the Panorama Pan-orama Room corridor, Nov. 18-27. |
