Show NEW 1950 PONTIACS GO ON DISPLAY SOON The new 1950 Pontiacs will be on display in Milford "soon," it was announced today by Bob Tomsik, local distributor. The 1950 line will be shown in the larger cities Saturday, Mr. Tomsik Tom-sik said, "but it probably will be late Sunday or early Monday before we will be able to show them in Milford." "The Hydra-Matic transmission, transmis-sion, optional equipment which has proved so popular on all Pontiac models, has been reduced re-duced $25 in cost, and will now sell for $158.50," Mr. Tomsik said. A price reduction of $250 has been made in the new all-steel station wagon, both standard and deluxe models, Mr. Tomsik added. "The Hydra-matic transmission transmis-sion has proved its popularity with Pontiac owners and is ordered or-dered by a majority of Pontiac buyers," Bob said. "We believe this price reduction will increase in-crease demand and make this driving pleasure available to an even greater number of future I buyers." ' The new all-steel station wagon eliminates the disadvantages disadvant-ages of the wood type, Mr. Tomsik Tom-sik pointed out, and combines the traditional swank appeal of the station wagon with the safety, comfort and quietness of a sedan. Other Pontiac prices remain unchanged, Mr. Tomsik said, with prices starting at $1587 plus freight for the Chieftain business coupe. |
