Show U P OLD-TIMERS HAVE PLEASANT EVENING Members of the Union Pacific Old Timers Club and the Junior Old Timers Club enjoyed an interesting in-teresting evening at the Catholic Cath-olic Church Recreation Hall Monday. Highlighting the evening eve-ning was the showing of colored motion pictures of the Old Timers Tim-ers summer outing in Alaska, which was attended by many Milford members of the group. The movies were a complete record of the trip, which began by rail at Salt Lake, continued by boat to Alaska, then another rail trip inland, and finally a lake cruise on an old-time stern-wheel stern-wheel river steamer. A lossand damage prevention meeting was conducted by Mr. A. E. Smith of Salt Lake, the ladies of the Junior Old Timers served refreshments, and the remainder re-mainder of the evening was spent in dancing. Ash Workman, of the Junior Old Timers, J. E. Yither of the Old Timers, and Trainmaster Baker cooperated with the ladies in arrangements for the affair. "The Alaska trip was so popular, pop-ular, and so many who couldn't attend want to make the trip," Mr. Smith said, "that the Old-Timers Old-Timers have planned another trip for this summer. The boat will sail from Seattle on May 27th, and persons wishing to make the trip should contact Mr. Yither or myself for reservations." reser-vations." About 100 attended the Monday Mon-day evening affair, including the following visitors from Salt LaKe: Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Smith, Jimmy Curry, Harry Jackson, Supt. G. C. Cunningham, Asst. Supt. C. C.
