Show NAVY SEEKS TO ENROLL RESERVES "The Naval Reserve Trains men in the use of the latest equipment and latest naval developments de-velopments and thereby maintains main-tains a powerful reserve in readiness for mobilization," said C P O Martin M. Rosmicki, navy recruiter at Cedar City, in announcing a campaign to recruit re-cruit both veterans and non-veterans non-veterans in the reserves. "Although the naval reserve is an integral part of the U S Navy, it is a voluntary organization organ-ization and members v.il! not be ordered to active duty without with-out their consent, and may be discharged at their own request," re-quest," the recruiter said-While said-While the reserve is open to non-veterans as well as veterans, veter-ans, in most cases the veteran may rogain. the rate, or its equivalent, which he held at the time of discharge. Members may qualify for advancement and eventually for retirement benefits thru study courses together to-gether with one or more periods of annual training duty. Enlistment En-listment in the reserve is relatively rela-tively simple, since no physical or mental examinations are required re-quired and it doesn't interfere with your daily duties.
