Show OLDSTERS' ATTITUDE Crankiness in Old Aqe Linked to Health According to an Ohio state uni-' versity professor, crankiness or a cantankerous state in old age is A directly proportionate to poor health. In other words, the professor's profes-sor's situation holds basis for the adage that a man is "only as old as he feels." The professor, Albert R. Chandler, aid his conclusion was the result of 503 reports by college students and young professional people on the personal traits of older persons they knew well. The subjects of the study, the philosophy teacher said, ranged in age from 50 to over 80.
