Show NEWS NOTES FROM BLACK ROCK By MRS. WALTER JAMES Mrs. Merrill Miller returned after spending two weeks in Salt Lake. While there, her son Walter entered Westminster College Col-lege for his senior year. D. M. Adair of Provo and Milton Mil-ton Chavis of Annabell are in this vicinity looking after their mining interests. Hampton Burke drove to Richfield Rich-field Monday to do shopping and make calls on friends. Mrs. E. W. Clay of Burbank, Utah spent several days visiting at the Black Rock Ranch. Mrs. Clay was taken home by Mrs. Merrill Miller over a route which is due west from here. Mrs. Clay traversed the same route about fifty-eight years ago in a heavy covered wagon drawn by horses. She had four small children with her and said the trip required three days. The distance is about , seventy-five miles, which of ( course is much shorter than going by way of Milford and incidently a much smoother road, because of the absence of washboard. wash-board. The Floyd Hardys of Ctear Lake made a visit with Black Rock friends Saturday evening when they were enroute to Mil-ford. Mil-ford. George T.
