Show SARAH WHITE PASSES AWAY IN POCATELLO Mrs. Sarah Curfew White, 86, died last Saturday, Oct. 2, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Thompson of Pocatello, Idaho, of causes incident to age. Mrs. White was born March 2, 1862, in Beaver, a.daugrter of Richard and Agnes Hamilton Curfew. She had lived in Utah all her life, until recently when she visited her daughter in Pocatello. Poca-tello. On June 17, 1880, she was married mar-ried to John C. White in Beaver. He preceded her in death in 1925. Active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was a temple officiator at St. George, president of the Primary Association at Reed, and counselor counsel-or in the Relief Society at Beaver. Surviving are a son and four daughters, John R. White of Bakersfield, Calif.; Mrs. Jessie Frazier of Milford, Mrs. Agnes Frazier of Oakley, Mrs. Vera Stoney of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Ruby Thompson of Pocatello; 21 grandchildren and 41 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Beaver Monday, and burial was in the Beaver cemetery. |
