Show Mr. and Mrs. James Wester-gard Wester-gard were in Salt Lake last Saturday Sat-urday and Sunday, visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jones left Tuesday evening for Pioche, Nev., where they will make their home. Mrs. James Holm spent several days in Salt Lake last week. I Mrs. Howard Lund left Thursday Thurs-day morning for Salt Lake, to be with her mother, Mrs. Grace Sanders, when she undergoes an operation. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Dean spent the week-end in Salt Lake attending the L D S Conference. Mr. Dean also attended the afternoon aft-ernoon and evening sessions of the semiannual conference of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, which was held Saturday at the Hotel Utah. The evening session was called "Around the Camp-fire." Camp-fire." A program and pageant of dancing, music and song, was presented. Mr. and Mrs. Motley have assumed as-sumed management of the Valley Val-ley Rooms hostelry. They took over their duties on Oct. 1. Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch left Tuesday for a business trip to Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson Ander-son of Edinburgh, Scotland, and Mr. and Mrs. John Walters of Banff, Canada, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Cochrane. "Billie" is enjoying en-joying his annual vacation, and took his visitors for a tour of Lehman's Cave last Tuesday. Mr. Jim Vogt was in Denver, Colo., last week, attending an AT&T convention. Mrs. Vogt and the children visited Mrs. Vogt's iparents, Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Bowen, in Elm Creek, Nebr. They returned to Milford Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Warren Atkin spent two days this week in Ogden with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Lewis and family, returning to Milford on Tuesday, accompanied by her little 4-year-old niece, Miss Judy i Lewis, who will visit with the Atkin family for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hickman attended the Utah-Arizona football foot-ball game in Salt Lake last Saturday. Sat-urday. Geraldine Lyman, who is employed in Salt Lake, is at home visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Lyman. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tomsik were in Salt Lake the first part of the week, on a business trip. Mr. and Mrs. William Ash-worth Ash-worth and two children, Cherie and Monte, left Tuesday evening to spend the remainder of the week with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Ash worth. Mrs. C. L. Ford was an overnight over-night guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rue Nielsen, this week. Mrs. Ford was en route to Salt Lake City. Mrs. J. P. Spacer Jr. and two small sons, Johnnie and Billie, of Everett, Mass., are visiting Mrs. Spacer's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Hendrickson. |
