Show TRANSIENT WITH MEMORY LAPSE DIES IN HOSPITAL Ed P. Pearson, transient, died in the Milford Hospital Tuesday evening, of a heart ailment. He was born at Tip-Ion's Tip-Ion's Ford, Missouri, and is believied to have only two living liv-ing aunts, who have not as yet been located. Accosted by City Marshall D. A. Smith, Wednesday evening, on suspicion of drunkenness, he was admitted to the hospital when questioning showed him to be suffering from lack of memory mem-ory and possible other ailments. The body is being held in the Milford mortuary pending notification noti-fication of relatives. Martin Sherwood of Minersville Miners-ville and Allen Carter of Milford are receiving treatment for cuts and bruises after being injured when Mr. Sherwood's truck overturned over-turned Wednesday evening on the gravel road leading to South Milford. Following an accident last Thursday afternoon, near the Cougar Spar Mine in Pine Valley, Val-ley, six patients were hospitalized hospital-ized and treated for various minor min-or injuries. Lupe Reyes suffered a broken collar bone, Delfma Gonzales, Angie Reyes, Marcel-ina Marcel-ina Reyes, Lydia Villegas and Joe Reyes all had minor cuts and bruises. They were en route to Milford after gathering pine nuts, when their truck overturned. over-turned. LaMar Grimshaw is proudly passing out cigars to celebrate the arrival of their new 6 lb., 9 oz. daughter, born in the Milford Hospital last Sunday. Mrs. Myron Hooten is doing "very nicely" at the Milford Hospital. Arshall Evans of Minersville underwent a major operation Tuesday morning. |
