Show NEWS NOTES FROM MINERSVILLE By RUBEN DOTSON Several of the ward membership member-ship journeyed to St. George last Saturday to attend the Welfare Wel-fare meeting held there. Among those making the trip were Mr. and -Mrs. Charles K. Jameson, Delbert and Effie Jameson, Bishop and Mrs. Baker, and Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Hollingshead. Hollings-head. A birthday party was held at the home of Mrs. June Pearson, last Saturday, honoring her husband, Ralph. Six couples attended, and after the festivities festivi-ties were served individual meat pies, salad, hot rolls, drink and dessert. Mr. and Mrs. F, D. Williams returned home from an extended extend-ed trip to California, whore they visited their son Dee, who is in the U. S. Navy, stationed at San Diego. Mrs. George Marshall left for California Monday nite, to attend the funeral of a relative. Mrs. Charles Dotson has left for Stockton, Utah, where she was called because of illness in her family. An informal party was enjoyed en-joyed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Dotson last Saturday. Games were played, and delicious deli-cious home made ice cream vtts served. Mrs. I. N. Nolder had the misfortune mis-fortune to crack a bone in her right wrist Tuesday afternoon, when she fell in her yard. The injury is not considered too serious, ser-ious, but is very painful. |
