She has been recuperating from an operation. Charles H a n d 1 e y arrived home from the Utah Valley Hospital after major surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Warner Allen have their grandson, Raymond M. Heiro, visiting with them. Raymond lives in Denver. He just returned from a year in Vietnam where he was serving in the division of communications. communica-tions. Ml. and Mrs. Everett Bennett Ben-nett have had their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Bennett, home on leave. He will be going to George Air Force Base in California. A special youth fireside for the youth of the Mapleton First Ward was held in the Relief Society Room. Chaplain Alan Bi.ird from the Utah State Prison Pri-son was the speaker. He also had men from the prison with him. They presented an outstanding out-standing program. Paul F. Johnson, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson, suffered knee injuries and a passenger on the cycle, Don Jensen, 18, son of Mr .and Mrs. Ermel Jensen suffered a broken right arm, bruises and lacerations. lacera-tions. They were riding a motorcycle motorcy-cle last Tuesday about 6:30 p.m., when their cycle collided with a dog. Mapleton Firemen's Auxiliary met at the Town Hall for their regular monthly business meeting meet-ing Monday night. Norticia Barker, president, conducted. There were 11 members mem-bers in attendance. The ladies quilted a baby quilt which will be given away at the Firemen's Ball March 22. All proceeds will go for the city improvement. improve-ment.
