Show PUFFY CASSEROLE DISH I This colorful and quick to make casserole tosses tuna with ! apple for an appealing texture. It is topped with a puff of egg j whites seasoned with tartar sauce and cheese. TUNA TARTAR PUFF 2 (6 or 7-ounce) cans tuna, cup Hellmann's or Best I drained and flaked Foods tartar sauce cup diced, unpeeled apple cup shredded Cheddar 2 egg whites cheese ' Mix tuna and apple in 1-quart casserole. Heat in 475 degrees P. (very hot) oven 5 minutes. Meanwhile, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form when beater is raised. Fold in tartar sauce and i shredded cheese. Pile on top of heated tuna-apple mixture and continue to bake 5 to 8 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Serve immediately. Makes 3 to 4 servings. Here is a handy tip for a quick dip for vegetable hors d'oeuvres or spread for sandwiches. Mix 2 parts finely shredded Cheddar cheese to 1 part Hellmann's or Best Foods Eelish Sandwich Sand-wich Spred. |
