Berton Groesbeck, has retired re-tired as superintendent of Reilly Tar and Chemical Corporation, Cor-poration, formerly Republic Creosote Co., for whom he has worked over 40 years. Plant official retires with 40-year record W. Berton Groesbeck, 434 North 100 East, has retired from his duties as superintendent superinten-dent of Reilly Tar and Chemical Chem-ical Corporation, formerly the Republic Creosote Company, for whom he has worked more than 40 years. He was honored recently at a testimonial dinner given by company employees. Mr. Groesbeck, a former math teacher at Park City High School took temporary employment at the plant the summer of 1926. At the end of the summer, he decided to continue con-tinue with the company and obtained a release from his school contract. He worked in almost every position at the plant before being made superintendent. super-intendent. Active in civic club and LDS work, he plans to continue these activities and perhaps do some things for which he has! not taken time before. |
