Newly weds make new home in Riverdale following reception caded from the top down one side and around the foundation. Preceding the wedding ceremony, cere-mony, parents of the groom entertained en-tertained members of the wedding wed-ding party and close family members at dinner at the Social So-cial Center with covers laid for 26 guests. The young couple has gone to Riverdale to make their home while the groom finishes his training in the Air Force Reserve at Hill Field. A wedding of interest to their many relatives and friends here is that of Miss Vicki Lee Gibbs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eu-Gene Eu-Gene J. Gibbs of Walnut Creek, California, formerly of SpringviUe, Spring-viUe, and John Cooper Jex, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cooper L. Jex of Spanish Fork. The ceremony took place Becky Leishman, Angela Leish-man, Leish-man, Debbie Thorn and Janet Howell. Mrs. Karen Thorn was dining room hostess. The refreshment tables were centered with white doves with golden wedding ring sets. For the all-important wedding wed-ding date, the attractive bride chose a floor-length gown of silk organza over nylon tafetta. It was designed with a scoop neckline and empire waist with train, short Chantilly 'lace sleeves and front panel of Chantilly lace with seed-pearl trim. Her veil of silk organza and lace fell from a crown with large flower in front. She carried car-ried a bouquet of talismen roses and green orchilds. Attending the bride as maid of honor, was Kathie Curtis, while Marsha Miller, Vickie Moore, Mary Wagstaff and Tamara Gibbs were bridesmaids. brides-maids. Debra and Kelly Chugg, were flower girls. The attendants attend-ants wore a p r i c o t-colored gowns, floor-length, with white gloves and pearl necklaces and carried white carnation nosegays nose-gays with green ribbon. Tom Tuckett was best man to the groom. Mrs. Gibbs chose a 2-piece floor-length a p r i c o t-colored gown and Mrs. Jex, a green floor-length. Their corsages were green tinted orchilds with talisman roses. Greeting guests were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Jex and Mr. and . Mrs. Ken Curtis; also Mr. and Mrs. Vern Hayes, grandparents of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Leishman and Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Gibbs, grandparents of the bride. Jimmy Gibbs and Don Jex were ushers. At the guest register were Helen Hulghren and Bonnie Diamond. Mrs. Esther Leishman, Connie Con-nie Leishman, Sherrie Neilson, Marsha Decol, Mrs. Loy Leishman Leish-man and Ruth Ann Clark were in the gift room. Serving were Jeannie Jex, |
