' . j MARRIED RECENTLY Miss Lela Ann McKenzie who was married to Porter Lee Ramsey, HI, of Alexandria, Va., in a ceremony December 24, at Covington, Kentucky. Lela Ann McKenzie is married in Kentucky nuptials Dec. 24 Announcement is made this week of the marriage of Miss Lela Ann McKenzie of Washington, D.C, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland McKenzie of this city, to Porter Lee Ramsey, III, of Alexandria, Va., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Porter Lee Ramsey, Jr., of Lexington, Ky. The marriage was an event of December 24, taking place at Covington, Ky., with LDS Bishop Victor Bang officiating offi-ciating at the ceremony. For her wedding attire, the attractive bride chose a cocktail cock-tail gown of white lace over crepe with long sleeves. Her veil was of white lace mantilla and her flowers were orchids. Her only attendant was her sister-in-law, Mrs. L. Russell Rus-sell McKenzie, while Mr. McKenzie served as best man. Following the wedding ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a dinner at the Lookout House in Covington, Ky., for members of the wedding party. The bride is a graduate of Utah State University, Logan Lo-gan and is employed by the U.S. Dept. of Public Health in Washington, D.C. Mr. Ramsey is a mechanical designer with Atlanta Research Re-search Corporation at Alexandria, Va., where they will make their home. |
