Show County aging commission h organized Utah County Council on Ageing is now organized under Utah County Commission with articles of incorporation and by laws. Cleo L. Thatcher, Provo, is chairman; H. Alva Fitzgerald, Fitzger-ald, Provo, vice chairman; Izet-ta Izet-ta P. Robinson, Orem, secretary; secre-tary; A. I. Tippetts, Sprmgville, Rees E. Bench, Provo, executive execu-tive committee, with a representative repre-sentative from each city and town in Utah County, appointed appoint-ed by their mayors. Cities and towns now organ-ized organ-ized and functioning with their chairman are: Lehi, G. W. Leaney; American Fork, Harry Steel; Pleasant Grove, Arnold Henrichsen; Orem, O. V. Farns-worth; Farns-worth; Provo, H. Alva Fitzgerald; Fitz-gerald; Sprmgville, A. I. Tippetts; Tip-petts; Cedar Fort, Mr .and Mrs. S. L. Hardman; Payson and Spanish Fork are working on organization. A monthly meeting is held each third Wednesday at the County Building. Executive meetings are held more often. The executive committee hopes to get active organizations functioning in all towns to create activities of interest and enlightenment for all Senior Citizens. A project is now in effect to show films in each city and town bringing education and entertainment. The program is under direction of Rees E. Bench. As the county is organized, plans are to create diverse, useful, and entertaining programs pro-grams which will be beneficial, entertaining and educational to all Senior Citizens. The primary objective is to organize the cities and towns coordinating programs in the county and cooperate with the Utah State Cuncil on Ageing. United State Presidents are not immune to arrest. President Ulysses S. Grant was charged with speeding in his carriage and forfeited a $20 bond. Have you ever thought: A fool and his money are soon invited places.
