Show -. : 'V- Rue! W. Jensen, 60, road construction foreman, for whom services were held on W e d n e sday in Mapleton. Services held at Mapleton for Ruel Jensen Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Wednesday in the Mapleton Ma-pleton Ward Chapel for Ruel Whiting Jensen, 60, well-known resident of this area, who died Sunday, Feb. 13, 1966, at the family residence. Bishop Harold Gividen of the Mapleton Maple-ton First Ward presided. Burial Bur-ial was in the Evergreen cemetery, cem-etery, directed by Wheeler Mortuary. Mr. Jensen was born Dec. 2, 1905, in Mapleton, a son of Neils C. and Ovilla Whiting Jensen. He married Ethel J. Ott, Aug. 19, 1931, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Jensen worked on highway high-way construction throughout his adult, life, and for the past 25 years had been employed as a superintendent by the W. W. Clyde Co. Active in LDS Church work, he was a counselor in the Elders El-ders Quorum presidency, and had been president of the Seventy Sev-enty Quorum. He was a High Priest group leader, and had filled a stake mission. He also al-so served one term on the Mapleton Ma-pleton town council. Surviving are his widow of Mapleton; 10 sons and daughters: daugh-ters: Mrs. Don (Ruth) Clark of Liberty, Utah; R. Alma Jensen Jen-sen of Fremont, Calif.; Mrs. John (Thera Lou) Finlinson, Provo; Neils Jensen, Logan; Marvin Jensen of Kanab; Jay Jensen, .Springville; Richai'd, Carol, Kathy, and David Jensen, Jen-sen, all of Mapleton; 19 grandchildren; grand-children; and six brothers and sisters: Mrs. Clark (Gladys) Johnson, Mrs. Earl (Irene) Freeman, Bernell Jensen and ,Verl Jensen, all of Mapleton; Delles Jensen, Orem; and Kel-ley Kel-ley Jensen, Springville. |
