Valley Symphony concert set Eight distinguished instrumentalists instru-mentalists will be featured in Utah Valley Symphony Orchestra's Orches-tra's third series concert January Janu-ary 12 at 8:15 p.m., in the Provo Tabernacle. An annua! event of the subscription series, ser-ies, the concerto night features the tonal contrasts of a solo artist or solo group with the entire orchestra Variety in this season's offering comes in programing pro-graming the full orchestra in Smetana's popular Bohemian tone poem "The Moldau" followed fol-lowed by three diverse combinations combi-nations of solo instruments and orchestra. Sweet Adeline Guest night Anyone who desires to learn to sing four-part barbershop harmony, is invited to attend the Provo Chapter Sweet Adeline Ade-line guest night Monday, Jan. 10. The entertainment will be held at 8 p.m., at Eldred Center, Cen-ter, 270 West 500 No. Mary Tarran, membership chairman, is in charge of arrangements and Maurine Larsen, refreshments. |
