OCR Text	Show Navyman back from Viet Nam Engineman Second Class Jack Tippetts, TJSN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan K. Tippetts of 734 S. Fifth E., Springville, is scheduled to return to Long Beach, Calif., aboard the oceangoing ocean-going minesweeper TJSS Excel, after an eight-month development develop-ment to the Western Pacific. While operating with the Seventh Fleet, Excel participated participat-ed in patrol operations in the waters off the coast of Viet Nam. The operation, called "Market Time," is conducted on a continuing basis to keep arms and supplies from being smuggled into Viet Nam by water. She also participated in a joint U.S.-Philippine m i n e-' e-' sweeping exercise. Excel is designed de-signed to operate in shallow water, and detect and disarm or destroy enemy mines.
