' 5 " M 'A' Leland Boyd Cliapman, going go-ing to Danish LDS Mission, will bo given farewell Sunday Sunday farewell planned for Leland Chapman Leland Boyd Chapman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Chapman, Chap-man, has accepted a call to serve in the Danish LDS Mission Mis-sion representing the First Ward. His farewell testimonial will be held Sunday, Jan. 9, at 7 pm. He enters the misson home Monday, January 10. Speaker at the farewell will be Richard Drollinger with remarks re-marks scheduled by Bishop David Gledhill and parents of the missionary. The missionary will respond. There will be a vocal selection selec-tion by a quartet composed of Annette and Kelly Chapman and Vilynn and Mike Day, accompanied ac-companied by Darlene Day; a piano solo, Mary Ann Nielson. Other music will be by the congregation. con-gregation. Mrs. Maurice Bird will give prelude and postlude numbers. The invocation will be by Ron Hatfield and the benediction benedic-tion by Wendle Whiting. Other missionaries serving from the First Ward, are: Brian Bri-an Harward and Paul Peterson, Peter-son, Northwestern States; Lynn M. Roundy, Central America; John D. Stokes, Eastern East-ern States; Paul L. Reese, Denmark; Wallace Alvey, Western Canada. An American Medical Association Asso-ciation news release says: "Don't eat wild mushrooms. It adds that only a true expert can determine whether the wild mushroom is one of the tasty, safe varieties, var-ieties, or is one of those that are dangerous and possibly deadly. There aren't many genuine experts. And even the experts sometimes are fooled, so much alike are some of the varieties. If the life of a river depended depend-ed only on the rainfall within the confines of its own banks it would soon be dry. If the life of an individual depended solely on his own resources, he would soon fall. Be grateful for your tributaries. |
