Show Monday evening C of C invites pufclt to banquet for installation of new officers Plans are complete for the annual installation banquet of the Springville Chamber of Commerce to be held Monday, January 10, at 7 p.m., in the high school art building. Guest speaker at the banquet will be George A. Jedenoff, general superintendent of the Geneva Works, U. S. Steel. There will be a report by Taylor Burt, retiring president, on the activities and accomplishments accom-plishments of the Chamber during dur-ing the past year. Bill Pratt will give a vocal solo, accompanied accom-panied by Annie Forshee. Martin Mar-tin Conover is toastmaster. Jack Allen will be installed president of the Chamber with George Bird, vice president; Yvonne Johnson, executive secretary sec-retary and Marva Taylor, Champ Allen, Kendall Oldroyd, Rex Anderson, Ned Schoell, Paul Beals and Bernell Thorn, will take over duties on the board of directors as will the retiring president. The public is invited to attend at-tend the banquet and reservations reserva-tions should be made with the secretary at the Chamber of Commerce office by Friday, January 7. |
