Show 1 r, . AN A . ... . Former resident made bishop Word has been received in Springville of the recent sus-tainment sus-tainment of Kent E. Hatfield, a former resident now living at Corpus Christi, Texas, as bishop of the Second LDS Ward in that city. The ward has approximately 500 members. mem-bers. He had previously served several years in the bishopric, and also was president of the elders quorum. A graduate of BYU, with a degree in chemical engineering, engineer-ing, Bishop Hatfield is employed em-ployed as a chemical engineer with Pittsburg Plate Glass Co. He and his wife, the former ReNee Hatch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harmon A. Hatch, have been at Corpus Christi five years. T-hey have three children. Bishop Hatfield is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hatfield. His sister, Mrs. David Da-vid (Joyce) Bo3'er lives in Springville. Richard M.
