Show Mapleton man conducts tests Staff Sergeant Keith P. Pulsipher, Pul-sipher, son of Mrs. Naomi P. , Pulsipher, Mapleton, Utah is helping conduct tests on the new F-5A multi-purpose jet aircraft at the Air Force Flight Test Center atEdwards AFB. Sergeant Pulsipher, an Air Force aircraft maintenance technician, is one of 120 technicians tech-nicians and flying experts testing the first military aircraft air-craft specifically developed for allies of the United States. The Northrop Corp. jet will be delivered de-livered to nations participating in the US Military Assistance Program (MAP). Capable of operating off short or unprepared fields, the F-5A can be used as an intercepted inter-cepted f i g h t e r-bomber, or a high-speed reconnaissance plane. The 1,000 miles-per-hour aircraft can carry a variety of weapons including cannon, machine ma-chine guns, rockets and bombs. The sergeant's wife, Sharon, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Dotson of 132 S. 2nd E., Springville. If your vacation hasn't materialized, ma-terialized, we suggest you take a week off this month and work it out then. |
