JNE OF MANY fine paintings to be seen 1 the current annual national art exhibit at 'pringville High School Art Museum this il year is "School Days" by the famous artist, John J. Sable of Bronx, New York. This painting is favorite of young and old alike. The gallery is open daily including in-cluding Sunday, from 9 a.m., until 9 p.m., and someone is in attendance at all times. There were ifny people who visited the isos gallery from the state of California Cal-ifornia alone. One was registered regis-tered from Hawaii, Japan, Africa Af-rica and four from Canada. Already the register shows visitors from Connecticut, Massachusetts and from Florida Flor-ida in addition to many parts of Utah. With the coming of better spring weather, the galleries are expected to be filled with people daily through the remainder re-mainder of the month. New gallery The new' galleries provided by the Clyde Foundation and of which the city may wrell be proud, is undoubtedly creating added interest in the exhibit this year. The new addition will be dedicated at a special program and banquet on Saturday, Sat-urday, April 25. All of the pictures m the national exhibii are hanging in the new portion of the gallery gal-lery and each entry seems to be enhanced by the beautiful indirect lighting system and the lovely plain white canvass walls. Art Tea Another evert which will bring a number of people from over Utah to the Art Exhibit, is the annual Art Tea, Saturday, April 18, sponsored by the Federated Women's Clubs of Springville. |
