ALMA HUFF of Prove, t 0 time residents of Springville, will celebrate their golden wedding Friends invited to open house Friends and relatives in Springville are invited to the open house Saturday, honoring honor-ing Mr. and Mrs. J. Alma Huff of Provo, on their golden wedding wed-ding anniversary. The reception recep-tion will be from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., at the West Utah Recreation Re-creation Hall, 610 W. 300 So., Provo. No gifts are requested. Mr. and Mrs. Huff made their home in Springville for a short time and he helped to build the power line across Mapleton, working as an electrician. elec-trician. Mr. Huff worked on construction con-struction at Ironton and at the iron mines at Cedar City. He was previously employed as an electrician in Carbon County. He retired after 35 years with the steel company. He is a high preiest and genealogical chairman. Mrs. Huff has served in various var-ious LDS Church organizations and in the DUP. Their sons and daughters are: J. Lynn Huff, Springville; Mrs. Harry (Marjorie) Nob-ley, Nob-ley, Redlands, Md.; Gerald A. Huff, Vernal; and Mrs. Robert Rob-ert B. (Rula), Cluff, DeKalb, 111. Their oldest daughter died in infancy and the youngest son lost his life in World War II. They have 19 grandchildren grandchild-ren and seven great grandchildren. |
