Show Club hears talk on England's schools Vern Brindley, who spent eleven months in England as an exchange teacher, was the speaker at the Jeune Mere Club meeting, when the group met with Mrs. Marie Whiting. He told of the English school system and showed pictures of the country and people. The speaker was introduced by Mrs. Marilyn Tuttle in charge of the program. President Lenore Bills conducted con-ducted the meeting and Florence Flor-ence Nelson read the club collect. col-lect. Mrs. Amy Klauck reported report-ed on the February and March meetings of the Legislative Council. A group of young fellows comprising Rex Jensen, Michael Mich-ael Taylor, Wendell Johnson, Craig and Bruce Whiting sang several folk songs. The hostess served a nicely arranged lunch preceding the program to members and guests, the latter including Mrs. Belva Edwards, Mrs. Beu-lah Beu-lah Whiting, Mrs. Donna Packard Pack-ard and Mrs. Judy Tucker. |
