Construction of the ollce-fire department building will begin irst as it is to be completed by December 1 of this year, and the fire department portion por-tion by October 15. The complete civic center is to be finished by February, 1965. Steve Miller of Springville has the contract for both buildings. Deadline for razing the city Hall is April 6 and the site will be all ready for the start of the new structure by that date. The officers gave chase but a high wire fence forced them to go completely around the building, this gave the burglar bur-glar time to get away. The officers of-ficers immediately took up stations sta-tions at the front and rear of the building to prevent the escape es-cape of any others who might still be in the building and radioed ra-dioed for assistance, which brought officers from Utah Highway Patrol, the sheriff's deputies and police from Spanish Span-ish Fork and Provo. The Provo Pro-vo officers used their dogs to aid in the search of the building. build-ing. Patrolman Larry Baum of Provo sighted the suspect's car entering Provo City limits and effected the arrest of Keith B. Neilson. Evidence which was taken from the scene and from the suspect will be sent to the FBI laboratories in Washington, D. C, for analysis and comparison compari-son Chief Graham stated that he was confident of a conviction owing to the quality of evidence evi-dence which has been collected and he stated that this prompt arrest was due to splendid police po-lice work and for the fine cooperation co-operation of all the police departments de-partments involved. |
