The second place winner in the state gets a $500 scholarship. schol-arship. Springville High School has done very well in past state competition having a winner in Dianne Clyde two years ago. She is now attending the "Y" on her $1500 state scholarship. The state winner will have an expense-paid trip to Washington, Wash-ington, D. C, and other points of interest in the area, together with her advisor. The national winners receive scholarships of $5,000, $4,000, and $3,000.
