Show Alpha Beta Club hears fine talks One of the most interesting and instructive meetings of the club year for Alpha Beta Club members was held Friday afternoon af-ternoon at the home of Mrs. Edward Clyde. Mrs. W C Harrison, Har-rison, president, conducted. Mrs John Sorensen and three students from the high school, representing the committee com-mittee for Children and Youth, presented the program. She introduced in-troduced Ann Palfreyman, Gail Whiting and Tom Jackson, who discussed the subjects, "Youth in the Home," "Youth in the Community," and "Youth in the School." The group covered problems and challenges by young people peo-ple of today, especially m school, and after their talks, the meeting was open to a most enlightening question and answer an-swer period. At the close of the program, the hostess served refreshments to twenty seven club members and guests, the latter including Mrs. Beth Wing and Mrs. Sheldon Nielson. Next meeting of the club was announced for Friday, January 24, to be at the home of Mrs. F. C. Packard at 2:30 p.m. |
