Show 1 S ' 1 Farewell set Sunday for Richard Child A farewell testimonial for Richard J. Child, son of Earl and Lois Child, who has been called to the New Zealand South LDS Mission, from the Seventh Ward, will be held Sunday night, in the Spring-ville Spring-ville Stake House. The meeting meet-ing will begin at 6:30 p.m. Elder Child enters the mission mis-sion home, February 3. Scheduled to speak at the farewell is Weldon Thacker, with George C. Puckett, bishop of the ward, and parents of the missionary to make remarks, Richard J. (Ricky) Child, going go-ing to New Zealand South LDS Mission, representing the Seventh Ward. and the missionary will respond. re-spond. There will be a piano duet by the missionary's sisters, Linda and Christine Child, and a vocal solo by a male quartet, composed by Douglas Miner, Richard Featherstone, Mike Farrer and Gary Peirce. Prelude and postlude music will be by Colleen Money and other music will be furnished by the congregation. The invocation will be by Lark Allen and the benediction benedic-tion by Merrill Barney. Other missionaries serving missions from the Seventh Ward are: Allan Bringhurst in the East Central States; Lawrence Barney in West Germany; Ger-many; Rand Eberhard, South German and Saundra Weight, Western Canadian. |
