Show New Harmony ByMARVA PRINCE Record Correspondent Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hall received word 1 from Germany of the birth of their first great-grandson, great-grandson, born to Brett and Janet Hall Talbot on May 20. Janet is the daughter of the late Reldon Hall and Lois H. Robinson of Salem, Utah. The baby Brett Jr. weighed 7 lbs and 4 oz. The Talbots are both stationed in the Air Force and will be transferred to San Antonio Texas in July. Congratulations to the new parents. Mrs. Geneva Gardner of Salt Lake City spent two weeks here with her son and family, the David Gardners . She has now returned home. Mr. and Mrs. Randie Mott are the proud parents of a new baby girl born last week in St. George. Rosalie is spending some time in Vernal with her parents . Congratulations, Rosalie and Randie. To welcome the new sister is Sharidan. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Metier of Las Vegas spent the weekend here working on their place. Mrs. Olive Schmutz received word of the accident of her step-son Eldon W. Schmutz who was seriously hurt in a tractor accident. Three grandchildren of Eldon's who were were with grandfather were not hurt. The friends from New Harmony1 wish Eldon a quick recovery. Mrs. Fern Hall and son Douglas and his girlfriend Laura spent Saturday here working on their place. Mr. and Mrs. Herb Schlosser and children of Tonapah, Nev., spent the weekend here with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hall. The Father's and Son's outing was held Friday night and Saturday up the canyon with a large crowd attending. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Prince of Cedar City visited Friday with their parents and Roland attended at-tended the Father's and Son's outing with his Father Vivian F. Prince. Carolyn Bess of Cedar City spent the weekend here with her friends Linda and Beth Prince. |
