Show Festival company to arrive pizza party that evening, courtesy of the Festival . Guild and the festival. For the first time opening week rehearsals and preparations are scheduled to coincide with Girl's State activities, ac-tivities, traditionally conducted on the w Southern Utah State College campus during the first week of June. Difficulties in space scheduling will be more than compensated by the added week of rehearsal time, giving all areas of the festival added polish by opening night. Also for the first time , During the first week in June, approximately 125 staff . and company members will arrive in Cedar City to begin an intensive period of preparation and rehearsal in anticipation of opening night July 15. The three plays this year will be "As You Like It," "Henry IV, Part II" and "Romeo and Juliet," as well as matinees of "As . You Like It" and "The . Monarchs of England." June 4 is officially "company arrival" day, and Festival personnel will be welcomed with a "As You Like It," one of the three Shakespearean productions, will be performed as a matinee ; on the indoor auditorium stage using an indoor Shakespeare set. This change in performance ' scheduling will allow , audiences to see all three productions during a : " weekend. The matinee , performances are in i addition to all regularly scheduled performances iof "As You Like It." Beginning June 7 the ( box office is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. j weekdays and tickets may be purchased during these hours. |
