Show Mr. and Mrs. Theo Corry 50th anniversary to be celebrated CEDAR CITY - Mr. and Mrs. Theo H. Corry will be celebrating their golden wedding anniversary an-niversary on June 2, It will be Mr. Corry's birthday on June 2 as well. Their children, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Anderson of Fillmore, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert R. Corry of Bountiful and Mr. and Mrs. Vance Wood of Hurricane have invited all relatives and friends to attend an open house June 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Second Ward Chapel , 212 West 200 South, in Cedar City. No gifts, please. He was born in Cedar City to John Herbert Corry and Lula Jane Robinson Corry. Mrs. Corry was born in Hinckley, Utah, to Don Alma Bishop and Nora Harriet Slaughter Bishop. The two met at the Branch Normal School, now Southern Utah State College in Cedar City and were married on June 2, 1932, in the Salt Lake Temple. They have resided in Cedar City ever since. They have both been very active church workers and just recently completed a six-year temple work mission in the St. George Temple. |
