I - Mr. and Mrs. Mvlo (Juintanilla Cox-Quintanilla recite vows CEDAR CITY Karolyn Cox became the bride of Mylo Quintanilla on April 23, 1982, in a double-ring ceremony at the Cedar LDS Seventh Ward Church. Harl Judd, president of the SUSC stake, officiated. Parents of the young Cedar City couple are Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cox and Mr. and Mrs. Matias Quintanilla. For the ceremony Marilyn Perry provided the wedding music on the piano and Paula Baker Lov eland sang "Circle of Our Love," accompanied by Melissa Bishop. The wedding cake was made and decorated by the bridegroom's cousin, Chris Fowers of Orem; and refreshments were served to guests following the ceremony. Attending the bride were Miss Karolyn Fillerup as maid of honor, and nieces of the couple, Amber Averett and Teresa Quintanilla as flower girls. A nephew, Jimmie Averett, was ring bearer and Terra Shartzer presided at the guest book. Brent Stratton stood as best man. The bride, a senioratCedar High School, is planning graduation and working at Kentucky Fried Chicken. The bridegroom is a 1981 graduate of CHS and is employed at Lin's Grocery. Prior to the wedding the bride was honored at showers given by Fern and Jennifer Hunter, Zola and Jan Halsey and Kae and Andrea Holyoak; and by Carrie Armbruster and Mary Jane Bennett. A wedding dinner before the ceremony was hosted by the Quintanillas. The newlyweds are making their home in Cedar City. |
