Show Ardella Ashdown I I A ARDELLA . LOUISE ASHDOWN, 58, died July 26, 1981, in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. She was born June 18, 1923, in Beaver, Utah, to William Howard and Minnie Edna Valentine Johnson. She married Melborne Ashdown April U, 1942, in Pioche, Nev. She was a homemaker and a member of the LDS Church where she served as a Relief Society teacher for many years. She is survived by her husband of Cedar City; her stepfather and mother Minnie and James Haslam, Leeds, Utah, sons and daughters: William Cruz of Winters, Calif., Marie Mangum of Tonopah, Nev., Melborne Ashdown Jr. of Kearns, Utah, Don Ashdown of Silver Peak, Nev., Bonnie Krause and Fred Ashdown, both of Cedar City, and Emily Tillery of West Jordan, Utah; stepchildren: Sheldon and Gary Ashdown Ash-down " of Marion, Mont., and Betty Byce of Twin Falls, Idaho. Also surviving are 38 grandchildren, 5 greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren and 2 brothers: Leo Haslam of Watsonville, Calif., and Lee Haslam of Leeds, Utah. Funeral services were Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Cedar City Rock Church. Interment was in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury & Graff Mortuary. |
