Show Joseph Adair JOSEPH W. ADAIR,67, died Oct. 27, 1980, in a Murray hospital. He was born Apr. 22, 1913, at Cedar Hill, New Mexico, to Joseph Welton and Sarah Adelia Taylor Adair Lunt. He married Susan Evelyn Smith on Nov. 17, 1937, in the St. George LDS temple. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. He worked with animals all his life and especially enjoyed working with horses and training them. He was a deer hunting guide for many years for hunters coming into southern Utah. He is survived by his wife of Sany and sons and daughter, J. Lynn of Bountiful, Donell J. Woods Cross, Mrs. Charles (Sherril) Clegg of Bluffdale, Gerry A. of Roy, Phillip R. of Sandy and Roland S. of South Jordan. He was preceded in death by a son, Delwin. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren, brothers Riley and Mark Adair of Menan, Idaho; and sisters Ruth Smith of Monterey, Calif., and Carrie McReynolds of Rosemead, Calif. Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. in the Graff Mortuary Chapp-Chapel, Chapp-Chapel, 8090 S. State Street in Midvale. Friends may ell at the mortuary one hour prior to the services. Graveside services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the New Harmony Cemetery. |
