Show ) Bike race scheduled A 25-mile bicycle race will be highlight of Southern Utah State College's Nov. 2-8 homecoming celebration. The SUSC Mini-df-n will be held Nov. 7, begin- ning at 3 p.m. at the college's physical education building Participating four-person teams will run relay laps over a route circling SUSC on 200 South, 800 West, 300 West and Center streets. A .$150 first prize will be awarded the winning team, Ms. Walden, a sophomore from Indianapolis, In-dianapolis, Ind. said. Teams entered in the race are being sponsored by local businesses, independent in-dependent groups and SUSC clubs and organizations. "Any and all pedal bicycles will be allowed in the race, the only stipulation being that the same bicycle must be used by the entire team for the duration of the race ," imdicated cochairwoman Alyson Hammond. "The public is invited to be on hand for SUSC's first mini-500," Ms. Hammond, Pioche, Nev. said. "We hope to make the race an annual homecoming event."
