Show Inter-tribal pageant to be held Ariz. Martin is a graduate of Ashland High School, Ashland, Ohio, and is a freshman accounting ac-counting major at SUSC. Eleanora Lou Smith, daughter of Calvin and Nora R. Smith, Shonto, Ariz. Smith is a 1980 graduate of CamelBack High School, Phoenix, Ariz, and is a freshman at SUSC majoring in nursing. Darlene Valentine, daughter of Jerry and Emma Valentine, Mexican Hat, Utah. Valentine is a senior family life major. A 1977 graduate of San Juan High School. The fifth annual Miss Inter-Tribal Princess Pageant will be held Oct. 29 at Southern Utah State College. Sponsored by the 72-member 72-member Inter-Tribal Club and SUSC Multicultural Center, the Pageant will begin at 7 p.m. in the Thorley Recital Hall. The public is invited to attend the program free of charge. The new princess will be crowned by Cheryl Ann Yazzie, inter-tribal princess for 1979-80. Five SUSC coeds will seek the title. Each will be judged on traditional and modern talent and on verbal and written essay questions, Ms. Yazzie, pageant chairwoman, said. A panel of five judges, including Miss Utah 1980, will select the pageant winner. Miss Congeniality will be selected by the contestants con-testants themselves. Travis Benoih will serve as master of ceremonies. Benoih, a former Paiute research assistant with the multicutural center, is working towards a masters of business degree at the University of Utah. Special entertainment will be presented by Berth Robertson, Miss Inter-Tribal Princess 1978-79, and Ms. Yazzie. The ! five contestants include: Rita Chissie, the daughter of David and Lille A. Chissie, Tuba City, Ariz. Chissie is a sophmore sociology major, at SUSC, a 1979 graduate of Tuba City High School. Iva Jean Polelonema, the daughter of Lawrence and Idella Polelonema, Moenkopi, Ariz. The pageant hopeful is a clerical major at SUSC, a 1978 graduate of Tuba City High School.
