Show 1980 water supply good precipitation was agian short of normal, and fall soil moisture is drier than average. Storms over the past two months have helped to alleviate the dryness, though, the SCS reports. The 1980 water year was a very good one for Utah, says the U.S. Soil Conservation Service. Statewide evaluations for the year ranged from "average" to "well above average," with most of the v above average evaluations coming from central and southern Utah locations.
