Show l ) -A ji 1 A large Shakespearean quilt to be given away in a drawing is displayed by two employees of Hunter-Cowan Hardware. I Shakespearean Quilt to be Raffled A large quilt, featuring a scene from the Shakespearean Festival, will be sold by drawing, it was announced Monday. The result of many hours of donated work and materials, the quilt is a special fun-draising fun-draising project of the Valley View Health Care Foundation, said Joye Corry, project chairwoman. "We will be selling tickets at a suggested donation of $1 per ticket," said Mrs. Corry," and will hold a drawing on Aug. 21. The winning ticket will receive a beautiful Shakespearean Theater quilt." The multicolored multi-colored quilt is now on display in the front window of Hunter Cowan on Cedar City's Main Street. "The applique fabric was obtained from scraps of old costumes donated by the Utah Shakespearean Festival, and so is actually made up of bits of local history," said Mrs. Corry. "The quilt is very unique in its value and design, and proceeds from the drawing will be used to provide better health care at the local hospital." She said the quilt was designed by Virginia Dusenburry, machine applique ap-plique work by Andrea Bunting, machine embroidery em-broidery by Jackie Williams, hand embroidery by Lorna Gower, quilt marking by Theo Hadley and the acutal hand quilting by Razeel Robison, Iris Corry, Florence Saxton, Ethelyn Haslom, Jean Peterson, LaNora Cunningham, Cun-ningham, Ann Taylor, Nell Peterson, and Joye Corry.
